SOLAR PANEL
From 19 August 2018 to 30 June 2019, eligible households will only have to pay 50 per cent of the cost of a solar PV system. The Victorian Government is providing a 50 per cent rebate, up to the value of half of an average 4kW solar panel system (which currently equates to $2,225) for eligible households.
SOLAR HOT WATER
$1,000 rebate on solar hot water systems for 6,000 households from 19 August 2018.

Solar PV installers are required to hold an unrestricted Class A Electrical Licence registered with Energy Safe Victoria and be accredited by the Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar Accreditation Scheme.
